The latest version of the PLU application is now available for smartphones. Designed primarily for Lidl employees, this tool offers a convenient way to learn PLU codes for items that cannot be scanned at any time.

The app features several modes tailored to different learning needs:

• Learning Mode: This mode helps users memorize PLU codes and corresponding product names.
• Training Mode: This mode provides interactive exercises to reinforce recognition skills. It includes two types of activities:
  1. Product Name Identification: Users view a photo of an item and select the correct name from six options.
  2. PLU Code Identification: Users view a photo of an item and choose its correct PLU code from six options.
  The goal is to accurately associate each photo with its corresponding code.
• Self-Assessment Mode: This mode evaluates the user's knowledge by challenging them to enter the PLU codes for 30 different products as quickly as possible, testing their recognition speed and accuracy.

This application aims to enhance employee efficiency by facilitating rapid and effective memorization of product codes, thereby supporting a smoother in-store experience.
